Tivemos uma apresentação organizada pela Área de Arte na sede e com a participação de todas as Áreas do CEEBJA Manoel Rodrigues da Silva. As APEDs  Lídia Ribeiro e Odette A. Rosa também participaram contando um pouco sobre  a história dessa data comemorada nos Estados Unidos. Foram apresentados diálogos e músicas  interpretadas em Inglês por alunos e professores.

COMO RESPONDER A UM CUMPRIMENTO SE VOCÊ NÃO ESTÁ BEM?

COMO RESPONDER A PERGUNTA HOW ARE YOU? , SE VOCÊ NÃO ESTÁ BEM?

Desde que me entendo por gente, tenho visto a famosa pergunta “how are you?” ser respondida com “I’m fine”.

Bom, não há nada de errado com isso, se alguém quer saber como você está, você responde “estou bem”.

Mas é aí que aparece a dúvida: e se eu não estiver bem? E se quiser dizer, por exemplo, “não estou muito bem” , “estou mal” ou ainda ‘’estou mal para caramba”, como fazer? O que responder nestes casos?

“I’m fine” é uma resposta que se dá mesmo quando você não está bem. Isso ocorre no português também, você não vai sair dizendo para todo mundo que está mal.

 Muitas vezes, os motivos que te levariam a dar uma resposta negativa são muito pessoais e ninguém gosta de se expor, a não ser que se tenha uma certa intimidade ou confiança no outro. Com isso, a gente diz “I’m fine” (estou bem) mesmo quando o mundo está desabando, por questões de privacidade, etiqueta ou educação.

No entanto, se você decidir dizer que não está bem, pode fazer uso das seguintes expressões:

Not doing so well. [ = Não estou muito bem.]

I’ve been better. [= Já estive melhor.]

Not too good. [= Não estou muito bem.]

Not so good. [= Não estou muito bem.]

Not great. [= Não estou muito bem.]

I’m not well. [= Não estou bem./ Estou mal]

I’ve felt better. [= Já me senti melhor.]

There are special foods in his restaurant like Red Meat with Oranges, Pasta and Boiled Carrots, Cabbage and hot pineapple, and others.

          In his restaurant there is orange juice, lemonade, soft drinks and beer for the adults.
